Athens is an amazing city with so much history! Our hotel room had a blacony with an amazing view of the Acropolis!
While we were in Athens we met a very nice couple named Lou & JoeAnne. (Our idols) They are from Chicago and have traveled all over the world. We spend the entire day with them and they treated us to an amazing dinner. It was so nice to meet great people in such a great place. They are people who we will always be friends with!

Hi Mac and Meg, We heard from Charley you are having visa issues. Aunt Barbara, world traveler extraordinaire, has some suggestions.
She suggests that you call the Indian embassey in London or the American Embassey in London as they are known to issue visas readily from Rome. You would take a train from Rome to France (so fun!) From Challie (sp?) to London under the English Channel. Exit London to go to India.
FYI: Italians and Indians are in a snit about trading and you are the latest victim of their snit.
